Kathryn Zbarsky is a registered physiotherapist with over 9 years of experience in sport and general musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, as well as oncology and pediatric populations. She is a health and wellness advocate and is also certified in the Lagree fitness and STOTT pilates method. After years of working in various Physiotherapy clinics in Toronto, Kathryn opened up her own practice -  Kinective Physiotherapy, in  Studio Lagree’s Foresthill location in January 2017. Kinective Physiotherapy was born out of Kathryn’s desire to integrate her Neurofunctional based approach to manual therapy and Acupuncture, with her knowledge and love of therapeutic exercise - specifically STOTT Rehab Pilates and Lagree Fitness. Kathryn is able to provide manual therapy and corrective exercise, as well as use of the exclusive Lagree Fitness Megaformer. Using a treatment approach that is unique to each patient and situation, Kathryn will help you improve your ability to move, live well, and perform the activities that are most important to you. 

Kathryn has expertise in exercise and Sports Rehab Including LAGREE FITNESS, STOTT PILATES and extensive knowledge on many forms of sport and exercise (Including access to the Lagree Fitness Megaformer and Pilates Equipment which can be used during Physiotherapy sessions)

  • Medical acupuncture (with advanced certification from McMaster University Medical Acupuncture and Sport Performance Provider Program)

  • Head and neck pain and dysfunction including TMJ Disorders

  • Pre/Post natal Rehab including Diastasis Recti (Abdominal separation), De Quervain’s (Mom’s Thumb), low back pain etc.

  • Dysfunction and Rehab needs related to Oncology (Cancer) Diagnosis and Treatment.

  • Paediatric/Adolescent Physiotherapy including: orthopaedic (musculoskeletal), Sport, and oncology related conditions

  • Pre and Post Surgical Rehab for joint replacements, sports injuries and other Orthopaedic issues such as ligamentous (ie/ACL), meniscal, tendon, muscle tears, fractures

  • Chronic veruse conditions/ Repetitive Strain injuries 

  • Spinal conditions such as Disc herniations, scoliosis, degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis etc.

  • Generalized joint pain and limited mobility

  • MANY other conditions which are not listed here

Kathryn is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Invoices will be provided for submission to extended health care plans (this applies to all sessions, including 1:1 corrective exercise sessions as long as an initial assessment with Kathryn has been conducted and physiotherapy goals are established)

Dr. Natalie Gelman is a registered Chiropractor in the province of Ontario. She received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the New York Chiropractic College, where she graduated with clinic honors and Cum Laude designation. She also holds two Bachelor degrees from the University of Western Ontario and York University. Dr. Gelman has specialized training in Neurofunctional Medical Acupuncture, concussion diagnosis and management (CCMI certified), and various soft tissue therapy techniques. In addition, she holds a special interest in treating temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ – jaw pain), pre and/or post-natal back pain, shoulder injuries, and headache syndromes. 

Dr. Gelman’s passion for health and wellness extends well beyond the office. She plays in organized basketball, softball and dodgeball leagues year-round, she is an avid skier and golfer, and incorporates Pilates, spinning and running into her weekly health and fitness. 

Dr. Gelman believes in providing evidence-informed, patient-centered care and continually integrates new techniques into her practice with the aim of improving the function and health of her patients.  She uses education and corrective exercise to empower patients to live their best lives.
